In 2015, Northwestern Athletics began construction on new facilities for Olympic sports – Ryan Fieldhouse and Walter Athletics Center. Walsh Construction was named general contractor, and Shield Lockers was tapped to manufacture the lockers.

Shield worked collaboratively with Walsh Construction and the university’s athletic department to deliver 126 player lockers truly unique to the needs of Wildcats football. Shield also created issue lockers to hold smaller personal belongings. All locker designs feature a solid surface build, laminate back, and solid surface doors.

 In total, 126 lockers found their new home in the new Ryan Fieldhouse, giving the Wildcats a competitive edge for training and recruitment.
