SHIELD BRINGS SOLID SURFACE BASKETBALL LOCKERS TO THE BIG EAST

In 2021, Providence College Athletics began remodeling the Providence Men's Basketball locker room at Amica Mutual Pavilion. CannonDesign was named the architect, and Shield Lockers was tapped to manufacture the lockers.

Shield worked collaboratively Providence Athletics and the architecture firm to deliver 16 player lockers truly unique to the Friars. The lockers feature a solid surface build and a laminate back. Additional features include:

• Backlit acrylic nameplate
• Soft-close upper storage
• Direct print logos
• Integrated feature lighting
• Tablet shelf
• Integrated USB and power
• Inductive charging
• Felt-lined, soft-close drawer
• Angled shoe cubby

In total, 26 lockers found their new home in the Amica Mutual Pavilion, giving the Friars a competitive edge for training and recruiting.
