NITTANY LIONS BASKETBALL PROGRAM GETS A FACELIFT

In 2017, Penn State Athletics, began an extensive renovation of the Bryce Jordan Center for Penn State's men's and women's basketball program. DLA+ was named the architect on the project, and Shield Lockers was tapped to manufacture the lockers.

Shield worked collaboratively with DLA+ and the university’s athletic department to deliver 32 player lockers truly unique to the needs of Penn State Basketball. The women's locker room features a circular wall condition, and the lockers were designed to fit that elevation perfectly. Both the men's and women's lockers feature a solid surface build, laminate back, toe kick and integrated lighting, lockbox with digital lock, and lift-up bench storage. Features specific to the men's locker are dual pivot-pocketing solid surface doors and slide-out bench. The women's locker additionally features pull-out shoe storage and custom embroidered seat back.

In total, 32 lockers found their new home in the newly-renovated Bryce Jordan Center, elevating the player experience.
