SHIELD BRINGS CUSTOM LOCKER DESIGN TO THE CATAMOUNTS

In 2021, Western Carolina began renovating different sections of Ramsey Regional Activity Center that houses their men's and women's basketball programs. Within the project the locker rooms would be redone as well as refining player lounges with nutrition areas and an updated team film room. Gensler was cited as the architect and Shield was up for the challenge of bringing the center to its full potential.

Shield worked collaboratively with the university's athletic department to deliver 32 player lockers truly unique to the needs of The Catamounts. The lockers feature a solid surface build and laminate back. Additional features include: 

• Soft-close upper storage
• Clear acrylic nameplate
• Digital lock + lockbox
• Continuous pull-on wardrobe door
• Integrated feature lighting
• Mirror in wardrobe

In total, 32 lockers found a home at Ramsey Regional Activity Center.
