SHIELD’S FIRST DIII VOLLEYBALL LOCKER

In 2020, the Calvin University Athletics began renovation of the volleyball locker room at Van Noord Arena. Being a DIII program, cost efficiency was as important as recovery and recruitment capabilities.

Shield worked collaboratively with the university’s athletic department to deliver 23 player lockers truly unique to the needs of Knights Volleyball. The lockers feature a solid surface build, laminate back, with a perforated solid surface door.

Additional features include:

• Backlit player nameplate
• Toe kick and integrated lighting
• Lockbox with digital lock
• Integrated USB and power
• Soft-close bench storage

In total, 23 lockers found their new home at Van Noord Arena, setting the bar for recovery and recruitment in the DIII volleyball space.
