In 2017, The University of Guelph Gryphons and Toronto-based sports design firm MJMA approached Shield about creating modern, durable lockers to become part of the new centralized base of football operations adjacent to Alumni Stadium.

In total, 110 football player lockers and 12 coaches lockers found their new home in the football operations pavilion.
