SHIELD FABRICATES MULTIPLE LOCKER DESIGNS FOR MASSIVE ATHLETIC OVERHAUL

In 2019, Kansas State University, in partnership with Mortenson Construction, began a sweeping $19 million renovation that included both Buser Family Park and Tointon Family Stadium. BG Consultants served as the Architect, and Shield lockers was tapped for locker fabrication.

Shield worked collaboratively with the university's athletic department and Mortenson to deliver 40 player lockers truly unique to the needs of Kansas State Wildcats baseball. The lockers feature a solid surface build and laminate back. Additional features include: backlit acrylic player nameplate, routed color-infilled logo, toe kick and jersey lighting, integrated USB and power, locking cabinet with digital lock, and perforated soft-close bench drawer.

In total, 36 lockers found their new home at Tointon Family Stadium, giving an incredible player experience to an already excellent program.

Shield has also created volleyball and soccer lockers for K-State.
