THE ULTIMATE LOCKER ROOM REFRESH

In 2021, Marshall University Athletics began renovating the football locker room at Shewey Athletic Center. Populous was named the Architect, and Shield Lockers was tapped to manufacture the lockers.

Shield worked collaboratively with Populous and the university’s athletic department to deliver 125 player lockers truly unique to the needs of Thundering Herd football. All locker designs feature a solid surface build and laminate back.

Additional features include:

• Lift up, vented upper storage with direct-print logo
• Slide-out shoulder pad storage
• Lockbox with digital lock
• Acrylic donor nameplate
• Helmet and shoulder pad lighting
• Integrated USB, power, and dual circulation fans
• Lift up, locking bench storage with digital lock

 In total, 125 lockers found their new home at Shewey Athletic Center, giving the Thundering Herd a competitive edge for training and recruitment.
