In late 2018, while searching for an innovative locker solution, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville discovered Shield Lockers. The football program was ready to renovate the Coach George Chryst Locker Room at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.
In 2019, Shield Lockers worked with KC-based design firms Generator Studios and Dimensional Innovations to create a locker room experience out of the future. The Brooklyn Nets are revitalizing their historic brand and using the state-of-the-art facility’s newness as a recruiting tool.
In 2016, the Los Angeles Clippers and sports design firm Gensler approached Shield about creating a sophisticated locker as part of a fast makeover to modernize an outdated but vital component of the Staples Arena.
In 2019, The Florida Gators and Florida-based architecture firm Walker Architects approached Shield about creating a custom locker that would serve as the team’s interim training lockers until the Gators’ new $85 million Football Training Center is complete. They would then serve in a gameday capacity following completion of the training center.
