SHIELD BRINGS SOLID SURFACE BASKETBALL LOCKERS TO THE MOUNTAINEERS

In 2016, the West Virginia Mountaineers were looking to bring new life to their men's basketball locker space. Both to become more specified to team needs and enhance recruiting strategies. Shield was scouted to create the custom lockers and the architect chosen was AECOM. Both brands were ready to take on the challenge.

Completed in 2017, Shield worked collaboratively with AECOM and the Mountaineers to bring their vision to life and deliver truly unique player lockers. The lockers feature a solid surface build and a laminate back. Additional features include: 

• Backlit acrylic nameplate
• Glass pivot-pocketing doors
• Integrated feature lighting
• Integrated USB + power
• Hardwood lower drawer w/ inset panel
• Marine-grade vinyl seat cushion
• Digital lock + lockbox
